What's Here:All games can be played from the PC or Mac commercial versions of Quake. You can even play from UNIX!
Due to excessive web traffic (yeah!), the Quake servers will run in a limited mode during business hours. Most players show up after 7:00 PM anyway, so this should not be a problem.
Ealier this year, Slot Zero took over the Rune Quake project.
He's established a web page and is acting as admin for the schnoggo servers.

- Servers are temporarily down. They've been basically unplayable with the bandwitdh demands lately so this shouldn't be a big thing.
The good news is that when they come back up it will be on a dedicated machine.

- I've been able to run without time-based limiters for almost two years. However, we're going to have to limit play starting in a week or two. This will be a temporary situation while I host a high-bandwidth commercial site. When that site moves on to its permanent home, I'll resume normal operations and offer donation opportunities for those who want more bandwith or servers.

- Hardware on the Quake server was upgraded! CPU and RAM speed were doubled.

- We're on the DSL line now. The quake.schnoggo.com name points to the new address, which is 216.161.20.65. The server on port 26000 lets more people on during the day than it used to.

- DSL is in place, but USWest is having router problems. As soon as they fix their routers, I will be moving the server. New address will be 216.161.20.65
